Outside Sales position - Lafayette, IN
To maximize sales revenue and gross profit by developing new customers and ensuring continued customer satisfaction of existing accounts at the corporate and branch offices.
What You'll Be Doing:
·Promotes sale of products and services by contacting, qualifying, developing and quoting prospective customers and maintaining relations with current accounts.
·Ensures customer satisfaction of assigned accounts by maintaining continual customer contact and visiting accounts.
·Making formal presentations, providing technical engineering advice or responding to Customer or Associate requests may be occasionally required.
·Provides management with information to be communicated to appropriate departments by submitting expense reports, itineraries, customer profiles, contact reports, etc.
·Monitors status of sales efforts by tracking the progress of recent customer quotations, the acceptance of proposed application recommendations and the bookings of purchase orders received by utilizing the database in concert with Customer Service.
What You'll Need:
·Minimum of high school education and 2-4 years of related account management or sales experience.
·Excellent written and verbal communication.
·Fastener experience preferred.
·Logistics & Supply Chain
Pay is based on experience and a combination of base pay and commission.
