We will offer you experience working as part of project team that is responsible for a technology upgrade project focusing on a hardware replacement initiative for one of our biggest clients.

Contract 1 year with potential for extension- Pay- $17/hr contract ONGOING

Flexible schedules may apply to project demands- after normal business hours, weekend schedules.

Job Summary:

The right candidate is a motivated team member that enjoys working with on projects related to technology including setting up of workstations, verification of workstations operating at 100% functionality and in some cases relocation of technology equipment. He/She possess excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills and thrive in working in a team-oriented environment. He/She is self-motivated, takes directions well, enjoys working on a team and achieving results, while being flexible in a fast-paced environment. He/She has technical skills (Tier 0/Tier 1) which enables them to verify the technology through a series of step-by-step verification scripts. Each candidate will own their portion of the project delivery while on-site at the client in partnership with their fellow team members and their Project Lead, you will be a key member within the overall project team to ensure successful delivery of all aspects of the deployment project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the move process by communicating with the project led and other team members
Obtains daily project work assignments from project lead and executes activities until completed
Performs work with quality, efficiency and safety always
Disconnect and reconnect PCs and other peripheral electronic desktop components per the project
lead’s direction and the specific job requirements

Record basic system information on PC Disconnect/Reconnect Checklist such as serial numbers,
manufacturer, model numbers and placement
Assist in the support of the customer’s workstations, office space, labs, etc.
Provides advanced workstation trouble shooting skills during setup
Providing both Tier 0 / Tier 1 support via ticketing systems for customers
Assisting project with system installations, workstation setup, and application installations while on-
site
Provides verification of successful workstation setup through step-by-step instructions
Movement of workstations and/or breaking down of equipment and boxes may be required while
on-site

 

Position Requirements:


1-2 years’ experience moving and relocating computer workstations preferred
Holds a valid Driver’s license, and working transportation required for job
Willing to work weekends, Open Flexible schedule
Some Certifications maybe required, per client
Traveling is a MUST – compensated for the mileage
Pass Background check, drug test and other medical tests ie: Post offer background check, drug
test, and health screen must be completed per client requirement prior to start date.

 

TRAVEL: 100% travel to various job sites and customer locations. Must be able to commute daily to the
customer site
