Directs and oversees the operations of Care Management services. Plans, organizes,implements, and evaluates delivery of care management and discharge planning to ensure appropriate utilization management thereby minimizing denials and appeals.
Coordinates, provides oversight and manages the Care Management Department. Assists the Executive Leadership in developing and maintaining an efficient Care Management program within the context of the current healthcare landscape.
Experience of 5-7 years.
Masters in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Certified Case Manager and/or Accredited Case Manager in good standing.
Active Maryland Registered Nurse License, CCM certification preferred, If hired must obtain CCM within 3 years of hire. Use systems Microsoft, Cerner, HealthStream frequently.
