Director of Product Development

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Director of Product Development.This is a hands-on role, building and managing a development team.You will be largely responsible for maintaining existing product uptime and performance, as well as new development in line with the product roadmap. Must be proficient in creating tech packs for various products and packaging.Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced dynamic team environment, possess strong leadership skills and are quick to take initiative.


  • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead dev team members to their optimum performance levels
  • Ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources
  • Collaborate with the leadership to review and prioritize product roadmap as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Marketing to align product objectives
  • Hire and replace staff as needed
  • Define schedule & cadence in which product team operates
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring and completing projects such as feature builds, 3rd party integrations, QA/QC, new version releases, and updates
  • Execute against product roadmap, feature requests, and updates according to set schedule
  • Developing responsive and stable websites & testing across multiple browsers & platforms
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future us
  • Supporting and creating enhancements to existing websites
  • Debugging and fixing CMS platform issues
  • Writing and updating FAQ’s and creating automation testing
  • Analyzing ongoing website performance and implementing regular website updates
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies


  • Minimum B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work-experience), Self-Starter, Independently Driven
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience in a related role
  • Proficient in node.js and Express.js (server-side development)
  • Proficient in MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js (MERN stack)
  • Experience and comprehensive understanding of Version Control
  • Proficient in web markup languages including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient in PHP
  • Excellent understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases


  • Strong leadership skills, building and managing a team
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of web applications architecture including: security, sessions management, browser caching, and best development practices
  • Strong communication skills
