LOCATION—EL SEGUNDO CALIFORNIA AREA—VERY LITTLE TRAVEL—MOST OF THE TIME IS ON SITE WITH LOCAL CUSTOMERS OR REMOTE WHEN NOT AT CUSTOMER SITE!

We have been retained to find them an experienced APPLICATION ENGINEER!

Here are some details on the responsibilities!

The Application Engineer provides technical sales expertise to support MORNINGSTAR’S CLIENT’S ENGINEERING AND BUSINESS DEVEOPLMENT TEAMS

 

. Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Advanced Composites or Multilayer Insulation
  • Gathering information from customers on their needs and developing the software to match their desires
  • Creating diagrams and models that programmers may need for each application
  • Overseeing testing to ensure new applications work as intended
  • Making sure the software continues to work properly after maintenance and testing
  • Troubleshooting problems with software and aiding in the creation of patches and updates to address them
  • Ensuring that stages of development reach completion on time according to project milestones
  • Documenting all aspects of the application for future upgrades and maintenance
  • Pre/post-sales support, including customer demonstrations
  • Support and consulting of customer test implementation and development
  • Develop and present local seminars and customer training sessions
  • Provide technical feedback to product developers
  • Customer training and seminars
  •  
   

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Materials, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and, minimally, 3 years related experience
  2. Excellent Communication both verbally and written
  3. Technical and Planning Problem solving skills
  4. CAD Experience
  5.Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite, MS Project and Autodesk Design 6. Experience using/ interacting with ERP 7. Excellent customer relationship skills 8. Outstanding attention to detail 9. US Citizenship required
