Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive based in the APAC region to expand our presence in this dynamic and rapidly evolving market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, helping producers modernize their operations by transitioning from paper-based or spreadsheet systems to our cloud-based solutions.

As a key member of our global sales team, you will collaborate closely with a Sales Engineer and other regional stakeholders to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a hunter role with a strong emphasis on consultative selling, ideal for candidates with experience in agriculture, animal protein, or agri-tech industries.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and close new software sales opportunities across key APAC markets, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and others
  • Effectively communicate the value of MTech’s solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers at all organizational levels
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regional industry trends, customer challenges, and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product—to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Travel up to 50% within the APAC region for customer meetings, industry events, and training sessions

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; additional fluency in a regional language is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in the food production, agriculture, or animal protein industries preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in software sales or solution-based selling preferred
  • Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to navigate complex buying cycles
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot (or similar)
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and the ability to work independently in a global, remote-first environment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in sales strategy development and execution.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in the agricultural and animal protein sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and farm automation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
