JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual for our Account Executive position. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in finding new sales opportunities and being an ambassador for our innovative software products for the Protein Production industry. We are seeking a team-player who takes pride in the success of the team while consistently growing personally and professionally with the company. This individual will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for a Software as a Service platform. With over 30 years of success delivering quality software products to the industry, MTech’s global brand awareness will provide opportunities and exposure to leads on every continent. The Account Executive must be comfortable making outbound calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects, moving leads through the sales funnel, and daily promoting the products’ value. In this role you will focus on new client acquisition and partner with senior sales representatives who know the industry and key players very well.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Responsible for curating their sales pipeline using marketing qualified leads as well as self-generated leads. 
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's products and services better.
  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline.
  • Interpret complex problems, create solutions, and collaborate closely with prospects, channel partners, and our sales team to deliver winning solutions.
  • Develop quota objectives and future direction for defined product category.
  • Work collaboratively with extended sales team to grow contractual renewals for small to medium sized accounts to higher- total contract-value renewals.
  • At least 50% travel will be required.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of industry experience (food production) preferred. 
  • 2+ years of any software sales experience preferred.
  • 5+ years in developing technical solutions to complex problems. 
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with clients, customers, or end-users. 
  • Excellent written English communication and presentation skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Able to learn the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling.
  • Full-cycle sales experience with proven success utilizing structured sales methodologies to consistently prospect, negotiate and close complex deals.
  • Demonstrated quota attainment and the ability to talk in detail about your past sales performance as well as the experiences and lessons learned that help you manage your performance more effectively today.
  • Understands and applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful pursuit of new sales.
  • Experience with HubSpot or another tier-one CRM.
  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills.
  • Establishes a professional working relationship, up to the executive level, with the client.
  • Maintain expertise of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner solutions.
