Job Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives to support strategic deals in complex sales cycles. You will engage in solution selling by delivering impactful presentations and demos, addressing the technical aspects within the MTech portfolio, and communicating customer needs effectively. Additionally, you will gather competitive intelligence to drive new customer acquisition, enhance satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. Solution Selling

  • Deliver compelling presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value of MTech's solutions.
  • Match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to effectively sell solutions within the prospective account base.

2. Data Optimization and Demo Creation

  • Create and optimize sales environments to support the sales and product teams.
  • Gather customer data to develop tailored scenarios and business case solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges during the sales process.
  • Build impactful demos using various tools to highlight MTech’s capabilities.

3. Product Collaboration

  • Customers need to communicate effectively with product teams for future enhancements.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence to inform product development.
  • Collaborate with product teams and Account Executives on new releases to align customer needs with product offerings.

4. Customer Engagement

  • Develop strong relationships with potential customers to identify their technical needs and requirements.
  • Assist Account Executives in pinpointing customer pain points and aligning solutions to address them.

5. Market and Industry Insights

  • Stay informed on industry trends and requirements to identify opportunities for new functionality.
  • Relay market insights into product teams for potential product enhancements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Proficiency in MTech Systems’ solutions and knowledge of the animal production industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support customer and business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to identify customer challenges and provide aligned solutions effectively.
  • Confidence in delivering engaging presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in creating datasets and tailored software scenarios to showcase product value.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
