Job Summary

MTech Systems USA, is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to collaborate with our Financial Controller in the execution of day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial statements, preparing and monitoring financial forecast and budget, manage complex cost accounting ledger, creating, maintaining, and documenting internal control policies, and driving continuous improvements in software systems and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • All Record to Report processes in MTech Systems group of companies including legal entities located overseas to assure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Provide accounting and compliance guidance to the global organization
  • Tax, trade and company compliance
  • Lead Internal Control policies and procedures
  • Liaison for external and internal audit
  • NetSuite configuration and integration with our complementary finance software stack
  • Continuously work to improve processes with high levels of automation and standardization
  • Strive for the highest standards in finance and accounting processes
  • Together with FP&A, set up profitability reporting based on products and geography
  • Drive and set global standards for accounting and reporting for Software companies within Munters group to allow for easier integration of acquisitions
  • Work to setup shared service center that can act as an accounting hub in Americas for any acquired entities going forward
  • Processes including but not limited to AR, AP, tax, payroll, cost accounting, transaction records

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred; candidates must have passed all parts of CPA exams. Active license is not required
  • 8+ years of work experience in corporate finance. Experience in SaaS software industry strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding in US GAAP / IFRS
  • ERP experience required. NetSuite expert strongly preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Complex cost accounting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience of working with auditors as a leader required.
  • Preferably a background in enterprise B2B SaaS
