Job Summary

We are looking for a Team Lead to join the QA team. The QA Team Lead is a seasoned professional with a strong background in software quality assurance and leadership experience. They should have a deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, coupled with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. This candidate should be proactive and results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products. They should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling them to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. We expect this individual to contribute by establishing and maintaining robust QA processes, driving efficiency through automation, and fostering a culture of quality within the team. They will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the company's success and reputation in the market.

Responsibilities

Will contribute to building multifaceted enterprise and customized applications for a diverse and growing international client base. Tasks will include:

• Manage, guide, and lead a team of 5-6 QA Testers.
• Develop team members skills and ensure consistent growth and quality service for each team member, including managing PDAs, providing ongoing feedback, and providing additional training.
• Responsible for the successful onboarding and training of team members
• Assign, track, and prioritize items per iteration.
• Participate in daily scrum methodology meetings.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely delivery of tests.
• Analyze bugs reported in production to correct omissions in test.
• Track quality metrics.
• Train the team on the modules or products for which automated tests will be created.
• Meet with Sr. Management to provide real-time feedback on team performance.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and implement solutions when appropriate.

Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, automation or similar.
• Experience: 1+ year in a Team Lead role and/or 4+ years at MTech implementing Protein and/or Amino.
• Language: Spanish mandatory, Intermediate English mandatory (speak, read and write).

 

Required Skills/Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of poultry/swine processes like Breeder, Hatchery, Growout, Breed to Wean, Wean to Finish, PE, Reports, Interfaces, Mobile, etc. (Mandatory).
• Test case design and execution.
• Defect documentation.
• Functional/Integration/Stress/Volume testing.
• Test automation (Preferred).

Additional Knowledge

• Knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodology.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Testim by Tricentis automation software or similar (Preferred).
• Knowledge of programming languages and SQL (Preferred).
