An established and respected community health organization is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the operations of the Behavioral Health Department. The Director of Behavioral Health will be a key member of the organization's leadership team and will manage the operational, administrative, and clinical functions of the behavioral health services and programs.

The Director will support and supervise a dedicated team that includes multi-cultural and multi-lingual staff consisting of psychologist, clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, case managers, and a psychiatrist. 

This leadership opportunity will be a key figure in supporting the mission of this great organization. Some of the services that will be under the Director’s care are:

• Mental Health & PsychiatryEvaluations
• Individual & Group Counseling 
• Substance Use Evaluations 
• Individual & Group Substance Use Counseling 
• Medication Assisted treatment 
• Aftercare & Follow-Up plans 
• Case Management, Outreach & Outside Referrals
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, or Doctorate in Psychology Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required

• Requires current Massachusetts independent licensure related to formal education & training Experience

• Minimum three to five years of supervisory experience in a psychiatric setting
