MVP Recruitment is excited to present a confidential opportunity for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join a large, well-established healthcare organization. This facility, with over 150 beds, is renowned for its 5-star quality measures and is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse community in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that promote the well-being of residents.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated nursing team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, addressing clinical needs with a focus on resident-centered care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for nursing shifts.
• Review and evaluate nursing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Work closely with administration to develop strategies to improve the quality of care and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure all nursing staff receive ongoing education, training, and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care, skilled nursing, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in a large facility (150+ beds) and achieving 5-star quality measures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a team-oriented environment while providing guidance and support to staff.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in managing budgets, staffing, and other operational aspects of the nursing department.
