Senior Product Marketing Manager

Client Company - San Francisco, CA

We are seeking a creative, driven and technology-savvy Senior Product Marketing Manager to help drive success for the company’s app protection solutions, primarily within the mobile banking and payment domains.

This position will have a unique opportunity to drive product requirements, marketing content, sales tools, and channel marketing. We’re looking for someone with a proven performance record ready take on new challenges and grow with the company as they expand their leadership in this market.

This position is ideally based in San Francisco, but we can also consider candidates based in Boston.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver field enablement strategy and materials, including demos, presentations, blog posts, technical white papers, videos, and field training courses
  • Work closely with the Business Development team for joint marketing collateral
  • Perform market analysis and provide requirements for potential future releases to product management
  • Develop messaging around customer challenges, key product and solution benefits, and competitive advantage
  • Support technical customer meetings
  • Coordinate management of various associations
  • Engage and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to create the content and proof points required to accelerate market adoption of the company’s solutions
  • Create and conduct customer and industry surveys that can be leveraged for PR, product improvement, and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in events and help ensure demos, event themes, and collateral take a solution-first approach

Key Skills and Experience

  • University degree in marketing, business, or computer science
  • 5-10 years experience as a product marketer (outbound, B2B)
  • Solid understanding of software security (ideally mobile application security) and the software development lifecycle
  • Credibility in the security sector based on past delivery or certifications
  • Knowledge of the mobile banking and payments market, including key players, market trends, and technology direction
  • Project management skills with successful experience influencing cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communication
  • Experience designing, building, and presenting technical and product demonstrations
  • Prior experience working with enterprise sales teams
