Overview:

GrammaTech is a provider of cyber security software solutions and software research services solving some of the world’s most complex security problems. Our application security testing tools help customers deliver more secure software, faster. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced sales professional help us achieve our rapid growth targets in the East. This individual contributor must have demonstrated experience selling to software development and security teams in the federal space.

Location: Eastern Region of North America.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role are to develop enterprise agreements within federally funded projects. The Federal Sales Manager is responsible to ensure GrammaTech’s customers realize the most benefit from the value of our solutions. This position requires extensive relationship-building experience as well as collaboration with internal teams including other sales team members, product management, engineering, and marketing. The Federal Sales Manager needs to excel in delivering solutions to large and complex customer environments in the federal space. This position will report to the Senior Director of Worldwide Sales.

A successful candidate will:

  • Own top-line sales revenue targeting customers that are federally funded
  • Drive adoption of multi-year and enterprise agreements to ensure long term customer success
  • Focus on relationship building with executive decision-makers
  • Be the customer advocate and help the wider GrammaTech team understand customer needs
  • Motivate and drive the team
  • Maintain forecast and activities in Salesforce
  • Travel domestically as needed up to 50% depending on the customer need

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with 5+ years selling application security tools
  • Track record of exceeding software sales revenue targets in the federal space
  • Experience selling cybersecurity software tools in complex sales cycles
  • Proven experience to build and maintaining relationships with executive decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of software development and security processes
  • Education: BA/BS is required. Advanced degree preferred. Computer Science or Engineering degree, a plus.
