Federal Sales Manager (remote)

Please note: In order to be considered for this job, you must have experience selling subscription-based Enterprise (Security) Software (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc.) into the Federal/Government Channel and/or System Integrators.

The Federal Sales Manager will sell security software to Fortune to public institutions and Systems Integrators. The company has several security products (application security, threat analytics, web security) that have outpaced competitor market growth in the last 2 years.

You will go after accounts across the US but will be able to focus on regions based on your connections and market potential. You will be selling to VP and C-level business decision-makers. This is an incredible opportunity to develop and achieve your personal goals within a growth stage company that offers highly desirable products.

You need to have experience selling high six-figure, ideally seven-figure deals. Your success will be reflected in past W2's of $300K+ a year. We are looking for sales executives who have earned more than their given OTE and are hungry for more.

You will get

  • Very strong, uncapped earnings. We are talking about the top sales executives in this firm making 7 figure total compensation
  • Great Sales leadership, support, but lots of autonomy (they want people that are self-driven and don't need micromanagement)

  • Strong pipeline for your region, with a brand name and products that are known in the Aerospace/Defense industry


  • Develop a sales pipeline of large accounts
  • Break into and expand existing relationships with Aerospace/Defense and System Integrators
  • Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual booking objectives
  • Build strong and effective relationships with your customers, delivering the value they expect from you as a top sales leader and the products you are representing
  • Work independently but collaborate with the whole team to complement each other strengths, up-selling and cross-selling


  • At least three years of experience selling security software to enterprises (ideally mobility, application security, threat analytics, or web security)
  • We need someone who has channel sales experience in this vertical.
  • Hunter mentality
  • Ability to differentiate the product you are selling (yes, value-based selling)
  • A deep understanding of the sales cycle, from lead identification to closing
  • Ability to pitch complex solutions in a simple and clear way
  • Comfortable and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Competitive, driven, and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of consistently achieving targets and objectives
  • Disciplined and skilled in qualifying and developing opportunities for sales while minding time, resources and customer needs.

We are looking for the best closers, independent and driven personalities who understand how to make a difference in a growing company, working remotely and self-driven. This is a client-facing role. We are looking for sales executives that can bring results and have a solid track record of overachieving their quotas.
