Sr. Unity Technical Artist

We are looking for a talented technical artist to work on the Unity client for Armajet.

You will be working closely with the core development team, software engineers, artists and designers implementing features. Our game primarily requires work in 2D elements although some elements will require experience with 3D.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a professional and highly skilled team on the first competitive eSports shooter for phones and tablets.


  • Design, manage, and maintain the pipeline from 2D and 3D artists through to deployment
  • Manage Adobe Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator / etc.) deliverables to efficiently get 2D assets into Unity
  • Work with Art and Engineering to get run-time character and environment animations looking and performing great for a fast paced multiplayer arena shooter on mobile
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and test new features, prototype shader code, and provide useful feedback during testing phases
  • Independently create initial assets to allow engineering to parallel process development while final assets are being created
  • You are a Master of the Unity Universe: 3+ years Unity experience including deep knowledge of 2D rendering in Unity as well as Unity animation and particle tools
  • Working knowledge of 4.6+ UI tools
  • Examples of your work that demonstrate that you can overcome technical obstacles in Unity and to create engaging experiences on mobile platforms
  • Deep experience optimizing real-time 2D and 3D graphics pipelines for mobile platforms
  • Experience working in version control (Git, Perforce, SVN)
  • Ability to efficiently work in Jira or other project management tools
  • Experience working with 2D and 3D packages including rigging, texturing, lighting, animation, scripting, and tool creation
  • Experience in Spine or other third party rigging tools for 2D games
  • Experience in Maya/3DS Max
  • Shader experience
  • Scripting knowledge in Python, MEL, C#
  • Design UI using uGUI or other UI packages
  • A BS or MS degree in design, games related, or technical field
