Senior Analyst, Business Insights

Join as a Senior Analyst on the Business Insights team. You will work with a cross-functional team to produce actionable quantitative models and analyses to address the complexities of marketing effectiveness, ROI, spot attribution, channel effectiveness, and pricing for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and analyze data, trends and data abnormalities so that data is accurately processed by using SQL, Excel, Tableau and other tools
  • Work closely with senior members of the Business Insights and Marketing Sciences teams to deliver modeling results and insight recommendations to clients and other departments, as well as perform analysis on strategically important accounts
  • Proactively identify potential opportunities and challenges, and drive thoughtful analysis to help clients understand the drivers of business and marketing performance
  • Acquire, extract, and transform a variety of data sets from databases for analysis
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve client’s KPIs through in-depth analysis and understanding of factors that influence client’s performance
  • Clear and concise communication (verbal and written) of sophisticated analytical information into business insights and client friendly recommendations
  • Support senior team with analytics aspects of client engagements in the area of spot attribution, client reporting and ad hoc analysis
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to deliver a quality product consistently while always maintain excellence in client deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, statistics, mathematics, marketing analytics, economics or other quantitative or science fields
  • Must have a strong aptitude and experience with quantitative subjects
  • 4-6 years of experience working with business partners to drive quantitative analysis and recommendations
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Must have a strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience in marketing analytics, consulting is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with data manipulation and analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, lookups, chart functions) and PowerPoint
  • Experience in a statistical programming language (R, SAS, Python etc.) is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of Tableau (or other data visualization tools) is also a plus
  • Must have strong presentation skills
