Cybersecurity Enterprise Sales Development Representative - Remote

 

The Role:

An SDR (Sales Development Representative) is on the front line of our growth.

You are the one that takes our message and the problems we solve to future customers, engaging with C-level decision makers and Heads of Threat Intelligence. You are exceptional in having consultative conversations which are based on business outcomes. You will initiate new business relationships through booking meetings which convert to opportunities for the company. You understand our buyer personas and their needs and your appetite to learn means you are always current in your knowledge of industry trends.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and qualify outbound leads through research tools and via calling, email and social channel cadences
  • Engage with highly qualified leads that will be given to you from the marketing process
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects for consultative conversations
  • Work closely with the sales team to set up meetings with a target profile of customers within a range of sectors
  • Understand the prospect’s needs and helping to position our product as the solution where appropriate
  • Maintain sales activities consistent with achieving overall revenue objectives
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activities, competitors and providing prospect feedback as part of objection handling
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through personal development; reviewing professional publications and research and establishing personal networks

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as an BDR/SDR within B2B technology sales with a proven track record of success in such a role
  • Fantastic client management and communication skills - you must be presentable, confident and professional
  • Highly proficient level of spoken and written English
  • Strong desire to be successful and highly self-motivated
  • Positive, energetic and driven by achieving personal and company/team success.
  • An interest in new technologies and concepts relating to them

 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Any previous sales experience in cyber security, threat intelligence or relevant SaaS related offerings
  • Experience of CRM systems (Salesforce), and research tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo etc.)
