Northwest Pump is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Portland, OR team. This role will manage product sales to businesses and industrial establishments or individuals.

Northwest Pump is a distributor for the Petroleum and Industrial Equipment industries and we provide outstanding support for the businesses and individuals we service. This role supports the Petroleum Division’s customer base and sales team by providing inside support. They will also assist our Industrial Division when necessary. Don’t know anything about Petroleum or Industrial Equipment? No problem, we'll train you on the specifics of our industry and product lines.

Inside Sales Representatives have daily phone, email, and in-person interactions with customers and vendors, and research solutions for their parts and pump needs. If you enjoy providing top notch customer service, and are adept at learning and retaining new information, this might be the next opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in the parts industry highly preferred
• Previous customer service experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to organize, plan, and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong follow-through
• History of being reliable and dependable
• Ability to work autonomously, and as a team; self-motivated
• Computer savvy, experience with an ERP system preferred
• Ability to contribute to an "Ownership Culture"
