Remote/Home Office Position based in Southern California

American Tubs is growing and has a new opening for a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this new position, you will play a significant role in building the company and the culture, doing what you love while making a positive impact (and being rewarded for your efforts). The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales through top national, regional and local home improvement dealers and distributors. Position reports to CEO.

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze key dealer/distributor growth opportunities; drive the sales strategy and plan
  • Expand current relationships and develop new relationships with top national, regional and local home improvement dealers and distributors
  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with dealer/distributor representatives and customers
  • Develop and execute business and marketing plans for identified dealers/distributors
  • Trade show preparations and organization

Qualifications:

  • Experience with walk-in tubs industry
  • 3+ years sales / business development experience, driving sales through dealers/distributors
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts, building relationships and business plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain positive relationships with dealers/distributors
  • Comfortable with travel and non-standard hours to maximize business opportunities as they arise
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal & presentation); natural collaborator
