Junior .NET Developer

Job Summary

The Junior .NET Developer will assist with the development of the company's systems and will participate in conversations to drive technical and architectural direction.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

? Collaborate with team members to clarify acceptance criteria for feature enhancements as they pertain to assigned systems.

? Collaborate with team members to participate in technical discussions regarding feature enhancements, research spikes, technical debt, andefect resolution.

? Participate in efforts to verify reported problems and to perform basic preliminary troubleshooting as prescribed by the team.

? Help to ensure that sufficient technical documentation exists for all systems for which one is responsible.

? Participate in the review of the work of other team members and provide related feedback on a regular basis to assist with one's professional

development.

? Adhere to change management policies to minimize the impact of changes.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

? Beginner skill level with .NET Web Forms and either VB.NET or C#.NET.

? Beginner ability to perform basic troubleshooting and to assist in the identification of root causes.

? Beginner Ability to effectively manage one's own time to meet commitments made to the team, to customers, and to the company.

? Beginner skill with build solutions.

? Beginner skill with Team Foundation Server.

? Beginner skill with unit test concepts and solutions.

? Beginner skill with eCommerce concepts, technologies, and processes.

? Beginner skill with source code control solutions and source code control concepts such as branching and merging.

? Beginner skill with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

? Beginner skill with Agile/Scrum software development life cycle concepts and practices.

? Beginner skill with Lawson M3, MEC, APIs and Lawson Web Services.

Experience

? Must have 1 to 3 years of recent relevant development experience with Microsoft's current .NET technologies including .NET Web Forms, and either VB.NET or C#.NET.

Education and Certifications

? Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Database Administration, or have 1 to 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a developer.
