The Junior Data Engineer works with data from disparate systems including CRM, logistics, supply chain, and machines used by our customers around the world to uncover insights that drive improvement and the development of new products.

Working with a team of talented data science, engineering, architecture, and product management professionals, you'll design data structures that lead to insights. Working with the team, you'll also develop business cases and present to management for consideration as new product offerings.

  • A degree and primary background in a quantitative discipline like analytics, mathematics, or computer science.

  • Full-time work experience in a data analytics or data engineering role

  • Extensive use of SQL, Python/Pandas

  • Additional knowledge of Dash, R, Shiny are applicable, but not a substitute for Python

  • Ability to design and architect on the front and back end

  • Some knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred

  • Familiarity with ETL and data science concepts

  • Some experience with MS Azure platform is highly preferred

  • Communication and interpersonal skills are critical. We're looking for someone who is comfortable discussing complex topics with technical and non-technical teams and presenting to executives
