MRI Supervisor – Full-Time, Day Shift

?? Shift: Full-Time Days | Flexible, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
?? Call: Rotating holiday and backup call required (must live within 60-minute radius)

Position Overview

We are a high-volume, established medical center located in downtown Dallas, seeking an experienced MRI Supervisor to lead and support a team of 13 MRI technologists across a multimodality department. This is a working supervisor position involving both hands-on clinical responsibilities and leadership duties across GE and Siemens MRI platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring high-quality patient care and imaging outcomes
  • Perform advanced MRI procedures, including complex and cardiac imaging
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal workflow and coverage
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to MRI technologists
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, TDH, etc.)
  • Support equipment selection, budget planning, and resource allocation
  • Act as a liaison between radiologists, physicians, and other clinical teams
  • Lead or participate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary committees
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety and service standards

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on MRI experience (advanced and complex procedures)
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a multi-scanner MRI department
  • Experience in cardiac MRI required; Brainlab experience a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

 

Required Certifications

  • BLS (within 30 days of hire)
  • ARRT(MR), ARRT(R), or ARMRIT certification

 

Technology Platforms & Imaging Focus

  • GE MRI systems
  • Siemens MRI systems
  • Advanced imaging procedures including:
    • Cardiac MRI
    • Neuro MRI
    • Patients with implants or pacemakers
    • Sedation protocols
