The role you will play:

  • Lung transplants, and kidney tranplants starting soon
  • Several Aortic cases
  • 12 days of call each month
  • 2 people on call at all times and 3 on the weekends
  • 1200 hearts per year
  • Salary is all inclusive with call pay
  • ECMO is ran by ECMO Specialists
  • 4 CT Surgeons 3 Thoracic Surgeons

Background:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science Degree with a Certificate in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program
  • Certification from American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 3 consecutive attempts following Associate's first eligible exam, or within 2 years of the Associate's date of hire
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
