Our Baton Rouge based client, an established and growing 70+ y/o specialty heavy civil manufacturing and industrial services provider, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to  further develop and oversee the company’s safety, health, and environmental programs across all operations. This position will work with all departments within the organization and report directly to the company's president in order to streamline the implementation of initiatives, policies, and industry best practices. Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar related field of study
• Board Certificated Safety Professional/ CSP designation is required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English or professional working proficiency preferred, company will pay for and allow on the job Spanish Language Education/Learning
• 6+ years experience in HSE leadership role within corporate industrial or manufacturing plant setting
• Performance history in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety initiatives and procedures
• Extensive knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
