Our client, a stable - innovative and growing independent exploration and production oil and gas operating company, is seeking a Sr. Advisor (or VP) of Reservoir Engineering.  The position will be responsible for leading the reservoir engineering efforts company wide across all business units including U.S. and international areas.  They have been named as a top workplace by their employees for multiple years mainly due from the way they respect and recognize contributions of their people along with being quite competitive on compensation, very robust benefits and a hybrid work schedule.

Keys/Qualifications for success in this role include:

• BS in Engineering (Petroleum Engr preferred)
• 25 or more years' experience in operating company(s) with strengths in reserves, reservoir modeling and field development
• Experience in International and U.S. deep water basins
• Strong skills linking static and dynamic reservoir models
• Advanced knowledge/experience in reserves evaluation-reporting including SEC and SPE-PRMS guidelines and regulations.
• Experience with Eclipse, PTA-PVT and TNav software
• Small team leadership/management experience across a matrix organization
• Creative thinker with ability to develop and professionally express contrarian viewpoints when needed
• Ability to complete limited amount of international travel (10%)
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency status highly preferred
