Reliability Engineer - Supervisor (4030)

Our client is an innovative and privately held entity with a diversified portfolio of business units that manufacture, operate, and market/distribute specialty products to domestic & international customers. This includes crude oil refining and marketing to produce and sell finished products for niche clients and fuel. They are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer Supervisor to support their Maintenance/Engineering Department by developing and maintaining initiatives to improve overall refinery and terminal reliability.

Qualifications Include the Following:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in petrochemical/manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques, destructive and NDT,  API/ASME fabrication and inspection codes, and welding & metallurgy preferred
  • Experience with AutoCad, PCMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Must pass Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

Responsibilities:

  • Foster good relationships with colleagues through strong leadership and communication skills
  • Develop and coordinate TAR repair plans
  • Ensure compliance with equipment standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor inspection teams, review and approve inspection plans and assessments.
  • Manage inspection data, coordinate equipment re-ratings, and oversee repair activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for temporary repairs and metallurgical analyses.
  • Maintain asset records, update programs and procedures, and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for fixed equipment inspection.
