Plant (Central Facility) Superintendent
Overview:
A contract leadership opportunity is available for a Superintendent at a recently commissioned greenfield facility producing 3,000 BOPD
& 12 MMCFD .
The central facility
is capable of managing up to 35 MMCFD gas and currently processes production from five wells and will begin drilling a sixth well next month.
This position demands strong expertise in midstream oil and gas processing, team leadership, and operational optimization.
The Superintendent will oversee and manage operations at a 24-hour facility, ensuring uninterrupted and efficient production processes. They will address challenges related to mercury removal in oil to meet sales specifications. Additionally, they will lead and develop a large operations team, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement through targeted training programs. The role requires implementing effective processes, procedures, and operational metrics such as scorecards to monitor team and site performance. The Superintendent will also coordinate operational workflows in a High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal efficiency.
Candidates must have proven expertise in midstream oil and gas processing, with knowledge of mercury removal techniques a plus. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and training diverse teams are essential. The ability to establish operational frameworks, procedures, and performance metrics is required. Prior experience working in HPHT environments is highly desirable, along with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
This role is based overseas in Eastern Europe and would be onsite for a minimum of 6 of months.
