Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in controls and automation systems design, startup and commissioning.
Qualifications
• Proficient in the design of complex automation systems, safety systems, embedded controllers.
• Proficiency in RSLOGIX, C++, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2012) and WORX.
• Experience in the design of PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), and hands on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Siemens PCS7 experience a plus.
* Knowledge of database management techniques, data architecture and design techniques.
* Proven expertise with PCS-Based, DCS-based aor PLC-based control systems.
* Proven experience with software development and database technologies including Microsoft Visual C++, C#, ASP.NEt and SQL Server 2012.
* Proficient in object-oriented design and application development using Microsoft Technologies (MCPD, MCM, MCSM or MCA a plus)
*Experience with Subsea Controllers and Motion Controllers is a plus.
* Experience with Machine Learning a plus.
• Strong analytical background with the ability to solve problems efficiently. Ability to quickly understand and utilize new technologies.
• Good planning and organization skills. Good written and verbal communication skills
