We've teamed up with a well-established food manufacturer in the Greater New Orleans area looking to add a Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee the repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment, machines, tools, and facility systems. This role ensures smooth and continuous production operations by managing maintenance staff, optimizing equipment health, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage utility systems (heat, steam, power, gas, air) for operational efficiency and inspect equipment for conformance to operational standards.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, including training maintenance staff on company policies and performance improvement.
• Monitor and analyze production, quality control, and maintenance data to optimize activities.
  
• Collaborate with management, engineering, and quality control to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Prepare and manage department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

The role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, project management, and the ability to improve processes and reduce operating costs.

Other qualifications include:

• 5+ years experience in a maintenance manager role
• Bachelor's Degree in related engineering field preferred
• Experience with anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems, certification highly preferred
• PLC & Controls, wastewater procedures, and Lock out/Tag out procedures
• Experience with CMMS and ERP systems preferred
