Our growing electrical power client, headquartered in the U.S. with international reach and operations is seeking a key leader to join their executive team - Chief Commercial Officer-CCO, to lead their business development efforts. This is an executive level position that reports directly to the company's CEO and will drive growth and success in their nimble electrical generation niche services. The company is a subsidiary of a publicly traded ~4B enterprise with ample capital and appetite to grow. They specialize in utility scale interim/emergency and is growing in longer/intermediate term power supply solutions. Company offers a very competitive compensation/benefits package and is a key member of the C-Suite.
The CCO will lead an established global commercial development team to develop marketing and sales strategies to further grow the company focusing on new customer acquisition on more innovative and non standard power solutions resulting in top line revenue growth.
Key growth targets and metrics will include developing a comprehensive customer experience strategy, best in class commercial team, sales forecasts, short/medium/long term sales goals and gain more in depth understanding of the voice of the customer.
More functional needs of the position include identifying opportunities & closing deals as a result of designing and implementing practical/innovative solutions in pricing, structuring and negotiation practices along with driving the own/capture the bid pursuit process, market intelligence reviews, developing digital and print sales and marketing materials and maintaining extensive knowledge of energy markets.
