Our client, a private family owned global manufacturing company based in New Orleans, in business for over 70 years is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate should bring:

Required Skills:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 2-5 years of related electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with PLC programming - Mitsubishi experience a plus
• Structured text programming experience desired
• Visual Studio or VB6 programming experience
• Must be willing to travel domestic and international as needed
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team, vendors, clients

Job Responsibilities:

• Writing and maintaining PLC and HMI software
• Assisting with installation and troubleshooting
• Writing PC software to communicate with PLC
