An Optimus client is seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-impact IT project focused on harmonizing data across multiple ETRM systems. This role sits within a global transformation program and will play a key part in advancing the company’s cloud modernization and data strategy goals.
The ideal candidate brings experience in Agile delivery, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to drive alignment across business, data, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture value drivers, business problems, and functional/non-functional requirements, translating them into clear deliverables.
- Analyze and model processes, data flows, and technology infrastructure to identify current-state issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability of requirements through testing and change control.
- Collaborate with software suppliers, developers, and solution architects to define and validate system and data design elements.
- Define acceptance criteria, support testing strategy, and validate that final solutions meet business needs.
- Support configuration of software tools and document updated processes using agreed standards and frameworks.
- Develop business cases and supporting materials to drive stakeholder buy-in, funding approval, and project prioritization.
- Lead stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, and cross-functional design sessions.
- Oversee and coordinate Business Analysis deliverables within defined cost, time, and quality parameters.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in IT Business Analysis, preferably in data transformation, trading, or enterprise system integration projects.
- Proven experience working within Agile frameworks; able to educate and collaborate with Product Owners and Business Partners in Agile ways of working.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering, data and process modeling, and business applications like Endur and DEX.
- Experience with requirement elicitation, process mapping, testing coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certifications or formal training.
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification.
- Lean Practitioner experience or training.
