Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Retail Operations team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Energy, specifically in the PJM market, and possess a strong background in commercial and industrial (C&I) operations.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily retail operations processes within the customer order-to-cash lifecycle.
• Contribute to and ensure adherence to company operations policies and procedures for commercial retail power customers.
• Verify and enhance process controls, identifying potential gaps and recommending improvements.
• Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations processes, providing recommendations for enhancement.
• Accurately input customer information into the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Proactively monitor pre and post-deal usage requests, customer enrollments, drops, and billing usage for smooth operational flow.
• Update internal systems with contact details, conversations, and customer-related issues.
  

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Energy, with a focus on PJM market operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently research and communicate resolution of complex issues.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively and concisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Understanding of quantitative data analysis is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
