Endur SME - Risk and Valuation

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Endur Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a 6-month initiative focused on enhancing risk and valuation capabilities within their trading environment. This role is critical to the design, testing, and iteration of risk models and market valuation tools inside the Endur ETRM platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Endur platform expert for all risk and valuation-related enhancements and prototypes.
  • Partner closely with risk analysts, developers, and traders to configure and validate market risk solutions in Endur.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to Endur’s VaR, PNL, and exposure reporting capabilities.
  • Support the integration of custom risk metrics and model testing within the Endur framework.
  • Provide hands-on support for pricing models, deal configuration, and market data setup.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and guide best practices for leveraging Endur for natural gas portfolios.
  • Document configurations, changes, and findings in a clear and actionable format for technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Endur experience with a focus on front office, risk, or valuation modules.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Market Risk, PnL, VaR, and other Endur risk components.
  • Strong understanding of energy commodities, with natural gas experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team exploring new analytical and technical ideas.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience configuring or customizing Endur risk engines or simulation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with scripting or JVS in Endur.
  • Background in risk management at a trading house, utility, or commodity firm.
