Our key client is seeking a Renewable Energy Associate Asset Manager to support the commercial operations of renewable energy assets. This role focuses on optimizing performance, ensuring compliance, and managing relationships with O&M providers, off-takers, lenders, and landowners. The position also assists with onboarding new projects and M&A due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily asset performance and ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Manage third-party relationships and enforce compliance with PPAs and contracts.
- Monitor regulatory obligations (NERC, FERC, ISO) and support legal/compliance teams.
- Evaluate market conditions and coordinate with trading to manage risk and settlements.
- Support credit risk assessment and insurance management.
- Handle property tax and landowner obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in renewable energy or a related field.
- Familiarity with PPAs, energy markets, settlements, and REC tracking.
- Strong interpersonal, contract management, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory bodies.
Preferred
- CFA, PMP, or CEM certification.
- Experience with trading systems or asset management platforms.
