Our key client is seeking an Energy Investment Associate to support the strategic development and active management of a diverse energy resource portfolio, with a focus on power generation and grid-connected infrastructure. This position is vital to informing energy investment strategy and optimizing capital allocation in support of energy-intensive operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform energy portfolio analysis to support asset allocation, rebalancing, and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models to guide investment and performance decisions across the portfolio.
• Conduct in-depth research on energy markets, technologies, and policy trends to support new investments.
• Support due diligence and underwriting of power generation, thermal, renewable, and hybrid energy investments.
• Provide insight into regulatory shifts and emerging technologies impacting energy infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align energy strategy with broader business objectives.
• Engage with utilities, developers, and energy stakeholders to support transactions and agreements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis, portfolio management, private equity, or energy infrastructure investment.
• Strong background in evaluating and managing real asset portfolios, particularly in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Energy, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Advanced modeling and analytical skills with experience in investment underwriting.
• Knowledge of power generation assets, energy markets, and data center energy requirements.
• Experience supporting large, complex deals and strategic energy partnerships.
