Project Manager needed for role that will influence PM processes and structure company wide, while leading important projects related to a large-scale ERP migration. Huge chance for impact on critical projects happening now, and on shaping the culture of Project Management for the future.

This is a role for an experienced Project Manager, who understands best practices in Project Management. Initial work related to a large ERP implementation / migration, and related feature roll-out. You’ll have a team of internal Business Analysts and SME’s for each functional area of the business – projects will impact Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Sales, HR, and company-wide processes. Long-term, the team are not PM experts, so you can help shape and build a culture of PM and a PM practice.

Salary target of $90-120K, excellent benefits. Great work / life balance, and you can work from home 1-2 days per week after ramping up with the team.

REQUIRED:

• Strong Project Management skills and experience, including knowledge of best practices in PM (PMBOK or related)
• Experience working in a manufacturing company
• Strong mind for process and operations, and ability understand the impact on business processes related to technical and implementation related projects
• Excellent communication skills
• BS Degree in an engineering or technical discipline

DESIRED:

• PMP certification is a plus, as is any other formal training or certifications in Project Management
• ERP experience. ERP implementation, migration, feature / module development and implementation are all desired, as is strong experience using ERP systems
• 4-year college degree or higher desired, but will consider candidates with appropriate experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience teaching people Project Management best practices, or with helping to create formal PM structures / rules for a company (PMO development)
