  • Salary: $85,000 - $125,000, plus excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise pre-construction and construction activities for assigned projects.
  • Schedule major construction tasks and manage subcontractor services, including payment approvals.
  • Coordinate activities of internal superintendents, crafts, and subcontractors to ensure job continuity and maximize efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, subcontractors, permitting authorities, and utility providers.
  • Ensure daily compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and regulatory requirements on-site.
  • Travel as required to various project sites, including extended stays.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with commercial and industrial developers.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to investigate project locations.
  • Review and interpret construction documents, plans, specifications, bid documents, and reports.
  • Perform detailed material take-offs, request quotes from potential subcontractors and vendors, and provide comprehensive estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Prepare budgets, set up job sites for field superintendents and accounting, and track project costs against the budget.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain accurate work schedules.
  • Manage all scope changes requiring change orders or extra work authorizations.
  • Verify quantities, progress, and completion percentages to assist with accurate billing.
  • Manage inventory control, material management, and loss control processes.

 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction process, including permitting, utility coordination, civil construction, quality assurance, and OSHA safety compliance.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Experience in telecom/data infrastructure construction, either domestically or abroad, is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, vendors, and team members (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams, establishing trust at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and writing business correspondence and proposals.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions.
