Senior Estimator – Landscape Construction Central Valley, CA

ParkerBeth Search Partners is hiring on behalf of a well-established landscape construction company based in the Modesto area. This firm is known for building standout municipal parks and public spaces across Central California. They’re seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team and take the lead on high-profile project bids—from developer parks and streetscapes to complex multi-trade scopes.

In this role, you won’t just submit numbers—you’ll own the entire front end of the project. You’ll work with takeoff support, coordinate with subs, vet materials, and prepare comprehensive bid packages that win work and protect margins. This position reports directly to the COO and works closely with operations and project leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare competitive bids for parks, landscape, irrigation, and hardscape scopes
• Lead material vetting, labor analysis, and subcontractor coordination
• Write scope letters and manage project bid calendars
• Support the COO and field leadership with strategic estimating

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of estimating experience in landscape, civil, or public works
• Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Familiarity with Central Valley project types and construction timelines
• A drive to “build the job on paper”—not just fill in templates
