Position Summary:

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with robust connections in the heavy industrial, oil & gas sector. This hybrid role combines office-based work, remote work, and on-site visits, offering a diverse and engaging work environment. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee projects, while also leveraging their network to introduce new business opportunities to our development team.

Top Requirements for the Project Manager:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the heavy industrial, oil & gas industry.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain industry connections.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, primarily within the Midwest region.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits across North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and surrounding Midwest states to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Utilize industry connections to introduce new business contacts to the business development team, contributing to the growth of the company.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports, updates, and forecasts to senior management.
