What You’ll Do:

As a Structural Engineering EIT, you will play a vital role in the design and execution of structural projects. Reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager, you will work closely with professional engineers, clients, and drafting personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently and with precision. This role offers hands-on experience and the chance to develop your skills while working toward professional licensure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing foundation and framing plans for residential and commercial structures.
  • Producing and reviewing structural plans using AutoCAD and Bricscad software.
  • Preparing structural design calculations to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Collaborating with clients, engineers, and drafters to ensure the accuracy of drawings.
  • Participating in project coordination, attending client and consultant meetings, and conducting occasional site observations.
  • Assisting with permit processing through local government agencies as required.

Key Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • EIT Certification: Must possess an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Structural Engineering Degree: A degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bricscad: Experience in both software tools is essential for creating and reviewing structural plans.
  • 0-3 Years of Experience: This role is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates with a solid foundation in structural design and calculations.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to work effectively with clients, engineers, and drafters.

Compensation:
