Service Manager – Electrical Service Department (Industrial & Commercial)

ParkerBeth Search Partners is actively recruiting a highly skilled Service Manager for our client, a reputable electrical contracting company based near the Sacramento Metro Airport. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven leader with a strong background in electrical work, particularly in the industrial and commercial sectors. As the Service Manager, you will oversee the entire service department, managing technicians and supporting field operations to ensure that service calls are executed efficiently and meet the company’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the service department, including a team of 5-6 technicians.
• Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance to technicians in the field, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.
• Oversee daily operations, manage technician schedules, and coordinate service calls.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain high-quality service for industrial and commercial clients.
• Conduct field visits 1-2 times per week to monitor progress and support your team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive department success and meet performance goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the electrical field, particularly in industrial and commercial service work.
• Prior experience leading a service team, managing service calls, and providing troubleshooting support.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and build a positive work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
