Position Title: SALT Income & Franchise Tax Manager

Location: Kansas City, Denver, Chicago, Saint Louis, or even REMOTE!

The Role YOU will play:

  • You'll bring your expertise and experience in accounting, state and local tax compliance, and consulting services
  • Go over client documentation and associated work papers for accuracy and tax consulting
  • Supervising client tax engagements
  • Development of Team Members
  • Technical competence in systems and databases utilized by the Firm
  • Ability to recognize, research, document, and satisfactorily resolve technical tax issues.
  • Leverage existing relationships and contacts to schedule meetings with organizations, introducing the Firm to the market and generating new business leads
  • Active participation in practice development efforts, including attending professional, community, and association meetings
  • Effectively managing new and existing client engagements by exceeding their service expectations, ensuring their retention, and encouraging referrals to other potential clients; and
  • Growing the range of services provided to existing clients by suggesting firm offerings that can boost their operational performance.
  • Maintain the highest levels of professional standards and ensure strict confidentiality for client information.
  • Traveling may be required.

Background Profile:

  • CPA required
  • CMI preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
  • Five or more years of applicable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
