A West Omaha law firm is looking to add a Paralegal to their team. A successful Paralegal would have recent exposure to Litigation with at 3-5 years of experience.

Qualifications and Responsibilities of Litigation Paralegal:

•Strong interpersonal skills, detail orientated, results driven with exceptional analytical skills.

•3-5 years minimum litigation legal experience

•Reliability, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to multi-task

•Manage e-discovery, redaction, duplicating and indexing documents

•Prepare chronologies of facts and production charts, discover relevant information, and organize pleadings and exhibits.

•Organize relevant documents for witness interviews and depositions, and assist in trial preparation

•Prepare deposition and record subpoenas according to state and federal regulations; coordinate production of third-party records and summarize some;

•prepare deposition outlines and summaries with correct grammar

•Trial and arbitration preparation and other trial related assistance.

•Maintain calendars and provide billing/invoice processing support

•Create new files and update client matter reports.

•Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedures.

•Ability to work under pressure/deadlines and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; self-motivated.

•Excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Work independently and as part of a team towards common goal of excellent client service.

•Experience with class-actions, and wage and hour productions a plus.

•Highly client focused as the position requires strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of people and personalities.

Educational Requirements:

•Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.

•Paralegal degree or related certificate, high school diploma or equivalent minimum.
