INDUSTRY: Oil & Gas - Midstream Water Services

LOCATION: Odessa, TX

CONTEXT: Our client, a midstream water services company, is searching for a bilingual Transportation Supervisor to supervise and coordinate activities related to the transportation of water.

The office is located in Jal, New Mexico, must be willing to commute on a weekly basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and maintain fleet vehicles, ensuring they are in excellent working condition, properly serviced, and compliant with all safety regulations.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to ensure compliance with all state, local and federal regulations.
• Coordinate activities with Managers to ensure that all needs are met in a timely manner.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Assist in developing and implementing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet needs.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the Managers discretion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Have at least 1 year of transportation management experience.
• Be knowledgeable about DOT regulations.
• Self-motivated and disciplined team player.
• Be able to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Have basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Must be bilingual.
