LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client, an Oil & Gas equipment rental company, isseeking a Operations Manager - Rentals to oversee the rental operations of their organization. This position is responsible for managing the rental inventory, ensuring optimal utilization, and driving business growth through strategic planning and effective leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a proven track record in sales and business development, enabling them to enhance profitability and streamline processes within the rental department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily operations of the rental department, ensuring efficient workflow and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve profitability.
Oversee profit and loss statements to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
Lead initiatives for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional strategies that increase rental revenue.
Maintain accurate records of rental inventory, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and available for customers.
Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and stay competitive within the industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in a managerial role within the rentals or related industry is preferred.
Strong background in profit loss management and financial analysis.
Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams effectively.
Proficient in project management with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
