INDUSTRY: Ready Mix Concrete, Oil & Gas

LOCATION: Midland, TX (Travel to McCamey plant)

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking reliable and experienced Ready Mix Drivers to join their operations in McCamey, TX. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will serve the construction and oil & gas sectors, delivering ready-mixed concrete to various job sites. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Accommodations and a daily per diem are provided to support your time on the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a ready mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
• Secure all loads properly and ensure delivery in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and job site personnel regarding job site conditions and delivery logistics.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork promptly.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle to ensure operational readiness.
• Represent GRM professionally at job sites, ensuring excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with at least 2 years of licensed driving experience (required for insurance purposes).
• At least 2 years of driving experience in ready mix delivery or fluid hauling (strongly preferred).
• Clean driving record with strong safety history.
• Experience operating heavy trucks in construction or oil & gas environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations and best practices.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-service-focused mindset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating heavy equipment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and extended hours as needed.
