LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

CONTEXT: We are seeking an experienced Security Foreman to oversee the installation, servicing, and programming of commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion alarm systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a crew of 4 to 6 technicians in the installation, termination, configuration, labeling, and testing of security systems with minimal supervision.
• Supervise complete project supervision and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Work directly with end users and IT departments to commission access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Enforce all safety requirements on-site and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and email correspondence on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with general contractors to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Support technicians through remote diagnostics and problem resolution.
• Operate boom lifts or scissor lifts as needed for installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion alarm systems.
• At least 5 years of experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
• Process-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and written instructions.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Texas state security license.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Certifications in Lenel, DSC, and Axis are a plus.
  
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
• Proficient in the use of various tools and technology related to security system installations.
