INDUSTRY: Water Transfer, Oilfield Services

LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client, a water transfer company, is seeking a Senior Accountant - AP & Inventory. This role will be responsible for purchasing and accounts payable/receivable. Candidates with purchasing, inventory, and AP experience are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile and analyze data to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts and monthly P&L review.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP/AR.
• Assist controller in preparing financial management reports.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Establish accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Assist in the budgeting process for multiple departments.
• Assist in quarterly and yearly internal and external audits.
• Oversee accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles, along with inventory management experience.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications and MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Highly prefer SAP experience.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Accounting.
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.

Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000
